We are meeting in meditation for the well-being of all life and in our weekly reiki send.
I gave myself several days to recover from some unusually hectic weeks (or months?), filled myself up with the beauty of the season and paid attention to the plants in my surroundings. By looking at what is thriving and what seems to be struggling, I detect that our microclimate is changing. How – time will tell… In the case of my gardens, perhaps a minor relocation will help the plants get what they need.
Like plants, we too need more of some elements to find our groove and bloom and less of other elements. General recommendations about how to create health, a sustainable schedule, good relationships, wealth, and how to develop hobbies, how to find purpose and the spark within exist, but primarily, it’s our self-awareness that will reveal these optimal conditions to us and that they are in reach indeed.
If that is something you want to pass on, fine. A lot of people ignore it, or don’t allow themselves to feel what could improve their quality of life. This can be conditioning, which spreads to more than a rut or a habitual pattern that can be overcome with a few steps. It can be a temporary situation, too, where other things take priority for the time being… But we all yearn to “come home“. Meditation is a soft entry to self-awareness, to some answers, to connecting with consciousness that is both universal and intimate, addressing you and your heart in the first place. Many of us have been moved by it in some chapters perhaps more than at others, in moments, or wonderfully steadily in the most challenging or the most creative times in our biography.
A few days ago, I described to my sister how intuition speaks to me, how it differs from my usual train of thought or from perceptions that react to outside impulses; that it signals me the future not by showing me the outcomes of my actions, but invites me to something that would be so good for me to explore, while also warning me about stuff on the way that I’m not clued into and have no concepts or knowledge about. I was perplexed by the clarity of my description, because I’ve never heard it quite like that. But it works for me.
I had enough experiences to trust what intuition shows me, although I was raised and educated in pretty left-brained cultures that had no landing place or language for intuition, sensations, feelings, expanded states of consciousness… Well, we don’t need another language to get a hit, to pay attention to it, and to allow it to inform us. Intuition is as old as mankind.
What fascinated me most, as a newish Feng Shui practitioner, is that intuition has a house, a place of operation! That lit up something in me. If it’s a house, it has a housekeeping system and processes on the inside that I had never pondered. Allowing that into my meditation this June could give me helpful pointers to make my schedule and my spaces more manageable, more supportive, and more joyful.
Please keep Shay and his son Chris on your healing lists.
Reiki is going out to your creativity tools: may your plans come to fruition in the same way as our seedlings grow into mature, productive and propagatable plants.
In gassho, I humbly receive.
