Earth Send On 4 September 2026

Welcome to today’s Earth Send. Due to technological instability, this invitation is short. I’ll be joining the Circle in a few minutes. Enjoy what remains of this Friday. Enjoy your long weekend.

To us in the global north, harvest season provides feedback about what likes to grow in our plots and microclimate and which seeds and rhizomes we want to save and repropagate in order to have the produce (and pollinator attractors) that will thrive, that loves us back and that we can thrive on. Our other, not edible, harvest of the year can be examined by staggeringly similar criteria: compatibility, reciprocity, success, continuation, specialization.

Many thought forms exist that imply that whatever is hard, quite impossible and out of reach is worth pursuing or “worth something”. That may be true for some temperaments, in some occupations and hobbies… (Self-honesty is helpful here!) But in order to grow and align with abundance, words like “notice“, “allow“, “so natural“, “curate“, “co-create” can be strong invitations to explore what’s in front of you and to perfect it.

As always, aim to put your life into the centre of your observation and expertise — even if a season here and there is challenging and rewards are slow… There are plenty of distractions and topics trying to steal our attention away. We have to come back to ourselves to apply our vital energy, skills and insight where we make the greatest impact: in our day to day life and in ourselves.

May the blessings be. In gassho. Itadakimasu.
