Earth Send On 23 May 2025

And noone knows

who wrote it—this springtime

master-song.

Welcome to Earth Send:

 On this beautiful Friday, we

~ meditate for the well-being of all life

~ connect with our gratitude to the earth and Creator and everything that inspires awe

~ send good thoughts and healing to all open to receive

~ send reiki to our healing lists and creativity tools—that is, to all participants’ portable wish lists, gratitude containers and “gratitude persons”—; after all, Friday is our weekly reiki send day!

Aloha, co-creators,

new, occasional and regular, welcome to another exciting session today.

As more reiki curious and new meditators have been joining us lately, I’ve updated the invitation to be more inclusive and confirm that we are growing. It’s so great to see the rising interest in healing and self-discovery!

If you’re new, join our Circle as well as you can. The pieces may feel like a lot at first, but they’ll soon weave together to a potent tool kit of complementary and cohesive practices for the rest of your life. Scroll down to the bottom of the invitation to find info about words that you may be unfamiliar with (vocabulary like Gallery of Mudita is not part of the common vernacular just yet, while gratitude container, a bucket list, vision boards, vision maps, or a Letter to the Future have found their way to the collective consciousness, and for the purpose of our sessions, they have been well-defined and so user-friendly that you can create your first draft in 30 min or less). There is also info about how you can set up a meditation practice and stick to it.

Hello, cherished regulars, it’s a pleasure to be with you again.

Approaching 20 Years Of Earth Send

 25 June 2005 – now

 Sync on Fridays

Just by day, not by the hour: you select the hour!

From the 24-hour window, choose the time that suits you best. We’ve always fared well with this offer. This is our 1042nd Friday together. In June, we’re completing 20 years of Friday circles, an exhilarating milestone.

And, we’re still going strong! Thanks to our practice, we’ve shed harmful habits, discovered clarity, trained discernment, reimagined our lives—away from autopilot, moulds, and default— and chosen a resonant, value-based and mindful way of being. We sharpened the inner compass to grasp when it is time to leap (forward!) and seize the day and when it is time to pause, take in the scenery and regroup. Many of these processes seem inconspicuous and perhaps too modest to write home about, or like fortunate wiring maybe, but we can credit the practice for it. I am grateful to notice how each one of us shifted and developed a self-perception that lines up with “Of course, I am taking the wholesome option.”

It takes contrast to (fully) appreciate it. So this is something!

Healing Requests and Feedback

 Submit your healing requests anytime.

Renewals and extensions of healing requests are possible. For that, we ask that you

Do Your Part and Stay In Communication

Please keep in touch while receiving reiki. Show that you care about who you requested reiki for, including yourself, if you’ve asked for yourself. Yes, your well-being and aims matter! Your updates keep practitioners in the loop, involved and motivated. Your feedback boosts group morale and maintains a strong and warm collective focus on your case.

The exception: feedback is not expected from people who can only receive or are terminally ill, a core group on our healing lists and of reiki treatments since day one.

As we also send reiki to processes that require alert engagement, like a promotion, passing an exam, completing education, launching a business, befriending and partnering up, childbirth, recovering from an acute illness, natural disaster or shock, and so on, do your part, so that your aim can turn real.

Today’s Focus: Reiki To Recipients and Our Creativity Tools | Heart-Link With Each Other

Bring Your Portable Creativity Tools to Session

Thumbs up to all who brought your portable creativity tools to session. Your creativity tools are the seeds of your future reality. Reiki is flowing to them on this day.

Bring Your Sun-Charged Water

to sip, a way to take care of yourself after and during the session.

Before Meditation, Set An Intention

An always appropriate intention is: “By participating, I open to my highest good.”

Personal intentions are more powerful (engaging to your consciousness) than generic or borrowed ones, so word your own—when you’re ready.

The Five Reiki Precepts

 Just for today,

I will not worry

I will not be angry

I will work honestly

I will honour my elders and teachers

I will be grateful for my many blessings

The Precepts are not just words to recite—we use them to course correct and as a barometer of alignment and inner progress.

If you worry often, ask: How can I trust life more?

If you find yourself angry often, ask: How do I channel this excess energy so that it serves a higher good?

If honest work trips you up in your service or as a concept, ask: What does honest work mean to me? How do I bring more honesty to my work?

If you feel that you can’t respect your teachers and elders, ask: Who has helped and taught me so far, who do I believe in? Honour exactly these people. You can always feature Mikao Usui first, our shared teacher and elder.

If gratitude feels elusive, thank the generosity of the earth for keeping us all alive, well-fed, watered and entertained—despite our neglect, skimpy recognition, preoccupations, ignorance and misconduct. Ask: What signals to give in a new way have I been ignoring?

Land and Water Acknowledgement

What do you know about your watershed? Where does your water come from? How does water flow around your property and neighbourhood? Where does it collect? How does it revive the soil? Observe and notice.

What are your ancestral ties to the land you’re on? What ancestral practices have you kept up? Acknowledge those who cared for the land and the water before you. Acknowledge that you have clean water and soil to grow food on thanks to many before you who kept it healthy and preserved it. Perhaps you’re becoming someone who revitalizes and preserves it for those who come after you.

Island of Self

Before the Buddha died, he said, ‘Dear friends, don’t rely on anyone. Don’t rely on anything. Rely on the island within.’ That was the Buddha’s last recommendation.”

Thich Nhat Hanh

By coming back to our inner refuge, the Island of Self, we stay safe and solid in the stormy and unpredictable waves of life, and we give replenishment and inspiration a place within ourselves.

As we are in the warm season now, nature offers a lot of vistas and encounters with animals that you can store as your personal Island’s unique and refreshing features.

Inner Smile

Warm body scan for life

Send your smile through your body. Based on the Taoist Inner Smile, take the route through your body that makes the most sense to you. The Inner Smile is prompt self-care: appropriate in waiting rooms and moments when you have nothing to do, and a terrific way to say hello to this organism that keeps you alive.

Run your Inner Smile through every piece of you now.

Bird’s Eye View

Imagine going upward from where you are now, through the roof of the building or house you are in, so high that you can see your neighbourhood and yourself as a dot in your vision. What words of direction can you give your small self on the ground?

Write it down, once you can.

I make a point of receiving simple instructions, as anything that comes from a higher vantage point hardly ever sounds “impressive”, verbose, pleasing or “stunning” to the ego, but more like “Go there!”, ”Turn left”, “Wake up!”, “Clean up”, “Pass”, or “Rest”. Clean, clear directions.

Too many people are dazzled by jargon and jive that they don’t fully comprehend and that likely noone is meant to understand, so assume that lack of clarity goes with it. Your Bird’s Eye View is above it: it assists you, it removes confusion and complexity, it offers a course for the here and now. It is not what an overwhelmed head or prickly person would advise you to do, but what wisdom would tell you to do. A lot of people don’t know the difference, unfortunately, and we don’t learn it in school. Give simple instructions a chance.

I laugh at Bird’s Eye View often, because it’s accurate, though unexpected.

Resonance Statement
What was good this week?
What would you like more of?
What would you love to repeat?

Write it down after the session.

Homework for the week:

environmental affirmation / bundle of delights: display symbols of keepsakes (for example, an event ticket) of what resonated, in a jar.

The bundle of delights are a signal to your mind that you value what resonates and adds to your well-being. In the late 20th century, gentlemen of a certain age called it “a woman’s touch”. While the words are still in use, we are reclaiming the feminine touch as something that nurtures and balances us. Men in our group can do so, too.

Earth Resonance

“Become Teachable, Mist Everything Else” is a highly useful motto to prescreen information.

The media’s bread and butter is to foster overwhelm around the global challenges we’re facing. Staying frozen and in the consumer role is not going to help anyone. The calmer, more creative and more connected we become, the more balance we bring to the shock doctrine that we are witnessing.

Let water be our teacher: as it cleans, cools, refreshes, moves, heals and ultimately arrives at clarity.

Protect your mental well-being. Let go of all overload. Take responsibility where you can.

We choose to be teachable by the places on earth that are regenerating and sustaining and health-giving and allowed to be on the earth frequency.

Self-Quiz

 Grade yourself from 1-10

  • Self-worth and self-acceptance
  • Water intake
  • Quality of sleep
  • Mental calm and clarity
  • Vitality, flexibility and strength of body
  • Doctors’ visits
  • Income and work satisfaction
  • Social life
  • Close friendships
  • Home life
  • Creativity

Let the scores be what they are for now.

Your answers are a Feedback Loop that is useful later to set up your self-care.

There are two main types of resistance to self-care:

one is a milder one, like “I know I need to do it”, but “it’s not convenient”, “I don’t know how to cram this into my schedule”; the other will take inner revision, opening of horizons, and awareness of how you have sabotaged yourself with avoidance and beliefs that self-care isn’t for you.

 Respond to your resistance

  1. with a Hula Hoop Solution—a fun, low-bar activity that gets you moving. (It took literal hooping to get me moving. In the spectrum of replies to resistance, it is something that is approachable and joyful, though not always, or necessarily, a hula hoop)
  2. to deeper and justifiable resistance: bring in your inner voices and subpersonalities on board to cooperate toward the goal

Nature’s Clues

“On the face of it, I’m blessed when the sunshine comes for free, I know this corner of the earth, it smiles at me.”

Jamiroquai

As every Friday, we reflect on what we have observed in nature this week, and we wonder what messages that may be sending us.

Well, if you haven’t been paying attention to nature, walk today. Spend time in nature and perceive: what is meaningful and can translate to a decision in your daily life? So often, it is back to basics that will provide the prompt: we’re part of nature, we belong, we were given legs to walk.

By paying attention to nature, we get clues about what nature is engaged in right now. What is in harmony with what nature is doing right now? What could be auspicious to try now? From the spectrum of earth-friendly actions, what is one thing that you can commit to until next Friday?

Write it down after the session. Do it by Friday!

Highlights of the Moment/Celestial and Cultural Events

It’s May! All cultures of the Northern hemisphere have their lore and songs of praise for this month that is an appetizer of the year’s vivacity, vigor and fruitfulness. The long daylight is a boon to life. And, May is just beautiful.

As a matter of fact, when I fought with the infection last week, I was most disappointed about passing up another opportunity to share photos of and thoughts about the local tree blossoms and spring messengers. True story! I love beauty.

Special Thanks

To nurses, healthcare workers, growers, and everyone who nurtures us—thank you. We honour your care and leadership, and we see your work.

To everyone who sent me reiki since the recent longer invitation: I got over the bug. I’m behind my schedule, but I’m so happy to be back. Thank you from my heart.

Stay In the Morphic Field Of Well-Being

for as long as it feels good.

Added Info for Newcomers

I plan to break up the content in units for quick look-ups.

  • A Space for Practice – to set yourself up for success

Indoors: Mat or rug; gemstones and a plant; a water pitcher and glass or teapot and cup; soundscape of percussion, mantras, natural sounds, background pink noise, grounding, non-distracting music; flag, poster, slogan or sculpture with spiritual significance to you. None of these are must-haves, but suggestions. Carefully chosen decor adds a vibe that affects your receptivity to the good things that are on the way to you and already around you. A designated spot in your home for practice declares its importance to you and reinforces your will to practise and give it a go.

Outdoors: Nature is the perfect backdrop for an Earth Send session in summer, but while it is not wind-free and pleasant and warm enough, have a place indoors to rely on.

  • Become a Local Connoisseur

What kinds of networks exist in your area that you’ve never visited? Who would be a good person to ask?

  • Rainbow Tribe Reiki that holds the Earth Send every Friday is a communal, relational type of reiki

You probably heard of the loneliness epidemic. Perhaps you, too, have felt that it’s part of your existence or something that you can’t quite remove yourself from? Well, as subjectively true as loneliness may be, we don’t operate with loneliness as a given. We draw inspiration from the web of life where all living particles interact with each other and benefit each other and find their own niche and ecosystem. We are part of everything—that awareness is switched on in some people and switched off in others.

If you are not used to contemplating a living web larger than you (not digital and man-made webs, but the original web of life), open your mind to the living connections around you. What information have you pushed out of focus? What real life networks could be fun to join?

I’m often approached by younger men about their sense of loneliness, expecting compassion and attention. Well, I can’t teach men how to approach or get to know “women.” The solution to loneliness is not serial seduction, or romance on its own, but community and a renewed mindset that includes some know-how about connecting, plus a lucky connection with a significant other. A more promising approach for alienated men would be to first develop friendships with other men, who help them mature a bit, and after teaming up like that, “landing with” women and partnering up could be the next step. Lumping women into a category, a species, or a separate species altogether, is erroneous and only speaks about the detachment and isolation they broadcast energetically. I doubt they would like it if their crush approached them individually as a scientific experiment about “men”.

We are living in an era, where the digital plane dominates. It has distorted our thinking and instincts, made what is difficult appear simple and the straightforward appear baffling. Well, conceive of historic patterns and biological drive, and you’ll understand that our ancestors weren’t instructed on how to play mind games on women to get noticed, yet they mated, found a woman, or even a wife.

The digital world also disrupted our native and unembarrassed experience of ecological and relational reality. We live in a kind and wise web, capable of self-repair and remarkable generosity, and it is time to remember that again.

Take This Into the New Week
Keep showing up for yourself. Stay well.
Thank you for your participation and presence today.

 I humbly receive.
