On this vibrant Friday in late May, we are coming together to:

𖥸 send reiki to our healing recipients and our participants’ creativity tools—a portable bucket list (alternatively, action or vision map, or Letter To the Future), a portable gratitude container and a portable Gallery of Mudita

Aloha, Newcomers, Visitors and Regulars

What a delight to welcome you to another sparkling session. As more reiki-curious new meditators have been joining us, I’ve made our invitation clearer and a bit more inclusive. Witnessing the growing interest in hand-on healing and self-discovery is a boon to the spirit.

Newcomers, near the end of the invitation, you’ll find resources, answers to many FAQs and detailed explanations about participatory elements that could sound a bit foreign. (I’ll be introducing more order to it once my schedule becomes more spacious. As that may be in the late year, realistically speaking, thank you for your patience!) Elucidations can get a bit much at first. The pieces are going to come together into a cohesive set of tools for well-being that you can use for a long, long time. Move through the steps as well as you can, and you’ll get the hang of it soon.

Upcoming Round Anniversary On 25 June 2025: 20 Years of Earth Send

After over 1000 circles and counting, we’re still going strong. In a month, we’re celebrating 20 years of Friday circles, a remarkable milestone.

Friday has always been our day, and we kept it that way.

Thanks to our practice, we’ve:

𖥸 replaced unsuitable patterns with supportive and congruous habits

𖥸 discovered purpose and our personal value system

𖥸 strengthened discernment

𖥸 made space in our lives for what matters

𖥸 reaped the fruits of mindfulness

𖥸 made wonderful memories, last not least, of our own evolution


Ask for Reiki, And Do Your Part

Feel free to submit your healing request. Your requests can be renewed, too. Stay in communication to keep us up to date.

Note: Feedback is not expected from recipients who are terminally ill or genuinely unable to communicate. 

As reiki is being sent to significant life events that require active participation — like exams, promotions, childbirth, recovery, weddings, family reunions, and so on —, your feedback keeps the group involved in your progress and your unfolding good luck.


Today’s Focus: Reiki to Our Healing Recipients And to Our Creativity Tools | Heart-Link With Each Other


Reiki goes out to the recipients who asked for it. And, of course, to all participants’ creativity tools. Thank you for bringing them. From now on, bring them every Friday. Our creativity tools are the seed form of a reality that is being watered now and that eventually will blossom and fruit. We update, refine, rephrase and expand our creativity tools as often as needed, so that they become a true expression of what we want to harvest. We know that what we’re asking for is going to be our tomorrow.


To Sweeten the Session

  • Have a place to practice
  • Stay hydrated. In this time of the year, before sunset, sun-charged water is very refreshing
  • Open your senses to impressions that you want to store for your Island Of Self
  • Run the Inner Smile through your organism. Start by swallowing it and swirling it through your organs, muscles, skeleton and bones. Take as much time as you need.
  • Become aware of the environment you are in:

𖥸 Land and Watershed Acknowledgement

Where does your water come from? Who cared for the land you’re on? Express your gratitude for the water you drink and the food you grow, or can grow, on-site. Acknowledge the land and its history with a bit of decorum and the decision to add to good episodes here.

𖥸 Bird’s Eye View

Imagine rising through the roof of your four walls and building—and looking down on your small self from above. From this elevated panoramic view, can you offer direction or input that you aren’t privy to while close to the ground? 

Write it down after the session. 

What we perceive from a higher vantage point can be advantageous, insightful and immensely useful in situations when we can’t see the forest for the trees. Let this perspective be and receive it with an open mind, even though it may sound odd, wacky or pointless. (The best things are “pointless” to the ego.) Train yourself in taking the Bird’s Eye View, and you’ll soon have a second point of view.


Before the Session, Set An Intention 

An intention that is almost always on point is: “By participating, I welcome my highest good.”

Your own words will have even more impact.


The Five Reiki Precepts

Just for today,

I will not worry

I will not anger

I will work honestly

I will honour my elders and teachers

I will be grateful for my many blessings

Let these precepts be guideposts for when we fall short of them and our reasons for contentment when we meet them easily.

Create a Bundle of Delights—a display of resonant keepsakes that remind you of precious moments, in a clear jar preferably. This environmental affirmation imparts that joy and well-being are new priorities to you.

Media certainly thrives on shock and overwhelm, a good indicator that it is not contributing to clarity, sound decisions, a sense of accountability or agency, profound thinking or creativity. Water with its fluid, cleansing, cure-all properties is always welcome and a friendly gesture of acceptance, compassion and coexistence.

The places on earth that have become regenerating, sustaining, nurturing and abundant are our teachers now. I declare it, you ponder it.

𖥸 June is a month of beautiful scents, many pollinators, luxurious blossoms, moving bird songs and the promise of summer

𖥸 Open-air concerts, neighbourhood and street festivals, events that draw like-minded people are great opportunities to get to know the region and make new friends
