In Hot Water

When your gut urges you to do something, and your intellect tells you stories about why you shouldn’t, follow your gut. Your gut is closer to your conscience and intuition than your intellect will ever be.

Let the intellect make sense of everything when you are relaxed and observant, not while you are in a situation that demands that you act fast.

Positive thinking or negative thinking are not what you can rest on, neither are correct, and both are baggage that will comfort you when discomfort is what you need to feel to move on.

The frog that lands in warming water will cook to death, if he keeps hoping for better times, if he keeps adjusting to the environment, if he keeps lamenting his fate. The frog that jumps out right away will save himself.
