Baby Sparrow’s Pluck

Baby Sparrow Singing, by Susan McManamen from http://susanmcmanamen.blogspot.com/

I am grateful for the new day, the bird song at dawn, the rays of sun light spreading through the clouds like liquid gold, the moist air, the baby sparrow at my feeder, who when he got my attention opened his wings to show me, “Hey there, human, here is what you do”, and he flew up.

A tiny bird, very delicate, smaller than the average sparrow, is showing me how to use my wings! This will be a good day.
