I had an extracurricular day in an extracurricular week, and all of it took considerably longer than I expected. So this invite is brief and I can go admire the vegetation of May on this evening.

I do love to surprise you with essays, fine ideas and observations of nature, especially in spring and summer, the beautiful seasons. At the same time, I need to make my life work, and lately more demands than usual cropped up. So I’ll pace myself until the end of the month, check off what needs to get done, and try to free up space for fun and appreciation of nature’s loveliness.

Shay published a petition asking for help with his costs – now that he has developed stage 4 kidney disease and congestive heart failure. Please help him if you can. And if you can’t, keep him on your healing list and in your good thoughts, so that donations can flow to him. It’s urgent. As you all know, the US health system needs an overhaul; it serves those who hardly need it instead of those with many challenges.
