Aloha, co-creators, co-meditators, co-practitioners,
We are meeting in our weekly reiki send and meditation for the well-being of all life.
Remember to bring your creativity tools
– your gratitude journal / list / craft
– your Gallery of Mudita (the collection of teachers and elders you look up to, have been moved by and whose wisdom you drew from)
– your action / vision board
to session. Our group reiki flows through all creativity tools brought to session. So make your tools part of your sitting down with us and tuning in. You can also go over them and check if you want to update anything.
The recent events – in the more virtual world, news and “secrets” that have been kept under wrap for a long time going public – have been highly dramatic, so I remind everyone to bring more attention to self-care: your emotional, physical, nutritional and spiritual self-care. If you think that you’re good in those areas, extend your self-care to finances, red tape matters, time management, development of skills and talents, “prepper” supplies at home, and networking with peers. None of these suggestions exclude therapy. To some of us, it may be the next best step. Do ground yourself in the here and now and in activities that you can commit to that augment your connection to the real, to what is real.
In my city, festivities around the Asian New Years are a big deal. As a lifelong fan of Vietnamese food, I look forward to street festivals and these bright events in February. Our local fruit trees are not in blossom yet, as they are on the West Coast and in many places of the Northern hemisphere, so we appreciate pink vibes in any way we get them.
According to Feng Shui and probably your own ancestors’ yearly rhythms and post-Carnival purifications, this month is fantastic for clean-outs of the many rooms you inhabit. Even micro clean-outs of your drawers, daily bags, equipment stations are going to stimulate energy flow and a sense of relief and power within. This is where you want to go: to your ability to steer your course and to expand your options.
As the Year of the Snake is coming to its end, draw up your designs for the Year of the Horse: that what you look forward to and how you want to achieve it. If you’ve always been a person who likes to go with the flow, you’ll be surprised at how much joy there is in planning, incubating, following through, appreciating the motion and then, the results and arrival.
May this weekend get your creative flowing. I humbly receive. In gassho.
Happy Galentine’s. Happy Valentine’s.
