Water is life. Water does not need us at all and yet it serves us all. We are completely dependent on it, all life on earth. We are not in an equal relationship with it, or one of dominion, although we have assumed that position, but that position is a delusion.
We depend on water. Water serves us. Maybe we can step up into a more appropriate relationship with water. Now that all those water emergencies are urging us to rebuild our ways, maybe the laws will change as well and reflect some insight rather than hair-raising ignorance.
I look forward to the paradigm shift.
