A friendly reminder from nature that the males show off their gifts to attract the females.
Society overturned nature in this aspect. The role reversal has become almost complete… That may be why relationships have become war zones and places of heart break rather than places of pleasure. Nature is not here to overcome. Society is simply on a path of disharmony… and of utter self-destruction too, if a transformation doesn’t happen soon.
The crickets are a bit more interesting… than the interactions between the genders that I watch in the city. At least the insects are offering something to admire: sound, beauty and passion.
