At 12 (A Memory)

So here is what I listen to at the breakfast table:

“Mom, do you know that porcupines have antibodies in their quills? When they stab their predators with them, the predator gets enough pain to not hurt them again, but also some antibiotics to heal whatever sickness they might have. So you can say that a porcupine’s self-defense has a benefit for the predator.”

My interesting 12 year old son.

I like the things he is thinking about.

He is not too smart for his own good. 😄 Just (extraordinarily) smart. That means that parenting was very hard in the early years and is pretty easy now. 😄
